Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist in Chico, California for an outpatient imaging assignment. The role requires 3+ years of experience and current ARRT licensure with a California CRT and fluoroscopy permit.

Responsibilities include positioning for X‑rays, operating equipment and uploading images to PACS, while delivering basic patient care under nurse supervision and keeping exam areas organized. 40‑hour weeks with 13 weeks length.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of radiology experience in outpatient imaging.
• CRT certificate issued by California Department of Health Services.
• ARRT licensure and California fluoroscopy permit are required.
• BLS/BCLS certification is required.
• EPIC EMR experience is required.
• License may be required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot or ankle x‑rays.
• Operate X‑ray equipment and process images into PACS.
• Provide basic patient care under clinic nurse supervision, including vital signs and prep.
• Maintain orderly and well‑stocked exam areas.
• Open outpatient imaging assignments with potential to float to Main Radiology as needed.
• Support 12‑hour day shifts with 8:00 AM start times.
