Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a float position in Massachusetts, providing diagnostic X-ray imaging across inpatient, outpatient, and OR settings. ARRT certification and MA licensure are required, with BLS and travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities include hospital imaging for all ages, X-ray, OR C-arm, fluoroscopy, and portables. Float coverage across sites, 40 hours weekly, weekends, varied shifts, and vendor equipment adaptability are expected.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• MA state license is required if applicable.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience.
• Prior travel assignment experience is required.
• Epic EMR experience is preferred.
• Flu vaccination is required during flu season.
• Must adapt to multiple X-ray equipment vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging across inpatient, outpatient, OR, and portable areas in a hospital setting.
• Imaging for all age groups; include diagnostic X-ray, OR C-arm, fluoroscopy, and portables.
• Float to other sites as needed, with a max of one site per day.
• Work rotating shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours; 4 shifts per week totaling 40 hours.
• Be available to work weekends; ensure coverage with varied shift lengths.
• Schedule published 4 weeks in advance; block scheduling not allowed.
• On-call shifts available but not required.
• Adapt to various vendor X-ray equipment and environments, including OR.
