Five Star Nursing is seeking a compassionate Travel Radiologic Technologist to be placed at SUNY Upstate Medical University. The role offers exposure to a renowned academic center and supports travel engagement through our staffing network.

We provide competitive compensation with an hourly rate of $70 and a daily tax-exempt stipend of $202. Candidates must hold a valid ARRT certification, NY licensure or eligibility within 12 months, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
• NYS license/registration and ARRT must be obtained within 1 year of appointment.
• Must have a limited permit if NYS license/registration hasn't been obtained yet.
• CPR Certified

Responsabilités

• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Ensure patients are positioned correctly for optimal image quality and provide patient care, explaining procedures and answering questions
• Practice radiation safety and protection to minimize patient exposure
• Provide radiologic examinations based on the needs of referring physicians and radiologists
