Travel Radiology Technician

13‑week travel assignment.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience as Radiologic Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist / Radiography license compliant with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Preferred: Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required
Responsibilities
Perform advanced imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to produce high‑quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions.
- Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images per physician orders.
- Maintain and sterilize imaging rooms.
- Evaluate image quality, present images, and provide preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare team.
- Maintain and inspect imaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions.
- Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
- Follow hospital safety rules, infection control, and radiation safety protocols.
- Perform other duties within scope of Radiologic Technologist practice.

- Proficiency in PC skills.
Physical Abilities
- Remain stationary; move equipment (50‑100 lb); push, pull, bend.

Technical/Motor Skills
- Fine manipulation, push/pull, assist with procedures, use department equipment.

- Handle irregular activity schedules and continuous concentration on detail.
