Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The selected professional will perform advanced imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the health-care team to deliver accurate diagnostic results.

Responsibilities include operating radiographic equipment, preparing patient education, maintaining equipment, and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year radiologic technologist experience.
• Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions if they arise
• Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
• Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which the procedure takes place
• Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the health-care team
• Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues and report malfunctions as needed
• Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records
• Follow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice

Required Qualifications

• One year’s experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT Certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

They ensure patient safety, maintain equipment functionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver accurate and effective diagnostic results.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend

• Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) and present a positive attitude and professionalism

Technical/Motor Skills

• Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment

Mental Requirements

• Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
• Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as without assistance from other personnel
• Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and maintain continuous concentration to detail

Sensory

• Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
