Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a contract in Turlock, CA. The role requires 40 hours per week, shift of 8 hours, starting 11/23/2026 for 13 weeks as a travel assignment.

Cadre includes licensure, ARRT Radiation Therapy, CPR certification, and ideally 18 months of radiation therapy experience, preferably in a critical care setting. Travel reimbursement and housing options are provided by MedPro Healthcare Staffing.

Qualifications

• Licensure in relevant state is required or pending.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy is preferred/required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• 18 months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation in the treatment of cancerous growths.
• Discuss treatment plans with patient; developed in partnership with a clinical oncologist and physician.
• Establish the correct radiation dosage and location or area to treat.
• Help patients understand potential side effects of radiation treatment and how to manage them.
• Safely provide the correct radiotherapy treatment to patients.
• Operate the medical equipment used for radiotherapy.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment regimens.
