MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Bakersfield, California. The role starts on 11/09/2026 and offers a full 40-hour workweek with 8-hour day shifts and flexible scheduling.

This travel position supports a top healthcare client through a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency. The candidate should have ARRT Radiation Therapy certification, state licensure, and current CPR certification, with 18 months of Radiation Therapy experience

Competenze

• Licensure for radiation therapy in the relevant state
• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification
• Current CPR certification
• Eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Mansioni

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation to treat cancerous growths.
• Discuss treatment plans with the patient in partnership with a clinical oncologist and physician.
• Establish the correct radiation dosage and treatment area.
• Explain potential side effects and management strategies to patients.
• Safely operate radiotherapy equipment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments.
