Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Philadelphia is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment. Start date 09/28/2026 for a 13-week contract, delivering prescribed radiation treatments in a hospital-based oncology setting. Typical shifts are 8:00am–4:30pm, five days per week, with 40 hours guaranteed.

The role requires an active PA license, certification as Radiation Therapist, and an Associate degree in Radiation Therapy. Travel support, onboarding, and clear pay terms are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania license to practice radiation therapy.
• Certification as Radiation Therapist.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators in accordance with treatment plans.
• Position patients and verify setup with imaging and data prompts.
• Operate treatment machines safely and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists to implement plans.
• Document treatments and maintain patient records; keep treatment spaces clean.
• Monitor patient status and report adverse events promptly.
