Job summary

Malone Healthcare - Nursing in Albuquerque is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment. The position is 40 hours per week, day shift (8 hours).

You will work with 2 Radiation Oncology physicians, using 21IX, TOMO and a Big Bore CT to treat all diagnoses with 3D, SRS, SBRT and IMRT. ARRT, BLS, and NM licensure are required. Expect ~35 patients daily on treatment and ~10 CT simulations weekly.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT Radiation Therapist certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• New Mexico licensure or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy per treatment protocols.
• Operate and monitor treatment machines and CT simulation as assigned.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Unit details: We have 2 Radiation Oncology physicians, two treatment machines; 21IX , TOMO and a Big Bore CT. We average 35 patients daily on treatment and approx. 10 CT simulation a week. We treat all diagnoses with the exception of pediatrics with treatment types of; 3D, SRS,SBRT and IMRT.
50 mile local radius, locals not accepted
Shift Information: Day (5x8 Hours) 7:30 17:00
