The RTT will perform IMRT, SRS and CT simulation in a short-term acute care setting, working 8-hour days with 40 hours per week, and may float to nearby facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid state license (compact license required).
• Epic electronic charting experience.
• At least 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience.
• Certifications in adult outpatient treatment, ARIA, radiation safety, respiratory gating, IMRT and SRS.

Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist (RTT) in a short-term acute care facility. This position involves providing specialized radiation therapy treatments to adult patients, with a focus on advanced techniques such as IMRT, SRS, and CT simulation. The role requires working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, adhering to clinical protocols, and maintaining compliance with licensure and certification standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license required), Epic electronic charting system experience, at least 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience, certifications in adult outpatient treatment, ARIA, radiation safety, respiratory gating, and advanced treatment modalities such as IMRT and SRS
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE and Varian TrueBeam systems, prior community hospital or trauma level experience
• Additional Information: Must have licensure in hand before start date; on-call, weekend, and holiday work required with a commitment to three of the five major holidays; candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities; references covering at least 1 year are required. Agents should respond to specific program questions regarding prior work at Providence facilities.
