TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Medford, Oregon. The role requires ARRT (T) and a year of experience, with BLS certification and state licensure as possible prerequisites.

As part of a travel team, you will administer radiation treatments, position patients, verify settings, and use imaging guidance, while maintaining safety and documentation standards. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (T) National Certification required
• State licensure may be required

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment
• Position patients accurately and comfortably for each treatment session
• Verify treatment settings and patient identity before delivering therapy
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Use imaging technology (e.g., CT, X-rays) to guide accurate treatment delivery
• Document treatment details and maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate with physicians, dosimetrists, and other team members
• Educate patients and families on procedures, side effects, and care during treatment
• Inspect, maintain, and calibrate radiation therapy equipment regularly
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
