MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a role in Wichita, Kansas. This position offers a 13-week contract and requires a valid licensure as well as certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.

The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering therapeutic doses of radiation to patients, discussing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Benefits include weekly pay, health insurance, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Most states require licensure.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation in treatment of cancerous growths.
• Discuss treatment plans with patients developed with clinical oncologist.
• Establish correct radiation dosage and area to treat.
• Help patients understand potential side effects of radiation treatment.
• Safely provide correct radiotherapy treatment to patients.
• Operate medical equipment used for radiotherapy.
