Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a contract opportunity at a partnering hospital in Tucson, Arizona. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week with 10-hour daytime shifts.

You will administer radiation therapy treatments, accurately position patients, and collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure safe, high-quality care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T).
• Active state license, if required by Arizona.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• 1-2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist

Responsabilités

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary while maintaining detailed records.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
