Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Quality Control Manager to ensure adherence to project and client quality standards. You will oversee QA processes, testing of materials, and document results, while coordinating with project management to meet schedules and budgets.

The role requires 5+ years in quality control within construction, strong knowledge of codes and standards, and excellent communication with stakeholders. Utah-based on-site position with extensive collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of quality control experience required.
• Knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes and standards.
• Ability to interpret instructions written, spoken, or in a diagram.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel.

• Execute comprehensive inspections aligned with project plans and specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and enforce safety protocols.
• Implement quality corrective actions to meet project requirements.
• Prepare and deliver reports to project managers and clients.
• Keep meticulous documentation for auditing.
