Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PTA program.
• National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) passed.
• GA PTA licensure/certification.
• First Aid/CPR (BLS) recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care as needed.
