Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Jackson, Alabama, starting 09/22/2026 for 13 weeks. The PTA will work 40 hours per week, with a standard 8-hour shift, providing care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities include treating patients recovering from injuries or illness to improve mobility and quality of life, while adhering to the established plan of care and documentation procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients recovering from injuries or illness to improve mobility and function.
• Follow the plan of care and document progress as directed by the supervising PT.
