Job summary

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week Skilled Nursing Facility contract in Aberdeen, South Dakota. This role focuses on hands-on patient care, post-acute rehabilitation, and helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.

The position offers a 30-hour weekly guarantee, with dayshift hours and a collaborative rehab team. A SD PTA license and BLS are required; SNF or post-acute experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a South Dakota PTA license and BLS.
• SNF/post-acute rehab experience preferred.
• Ability to work 30 hours per week and follow established therapy plans.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans under the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate outcomes to the supervising PT.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab team to support patient outcomes.
