Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-MSP is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Anticipated ASAP start, 13-week contract, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

The PTA will support licensed physical therapists, assist patients in restoring and improving function, and participate in daily care within a SNF setting. BLS certification, an accredited associate degree, and active PTA licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• PTA license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in prescribed tasks.
