AlliedTravelCareers is working with Pioneer Healthcare Services to place a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Brawley, CA, at a Skilled Nursing Facility. The opportunity offers on-site work, with a 3x12 shift schedule and a weekly pay range of $918.01 to $946.40.

The position requires completion of an accredited PTA program, passing the NPTE, and CA PTA licensure, with BLS strongly recommended. Assignment length is 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited PTA program
• Passing National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) required
• CA PTA licensure/certification
• First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended

Responsabilités

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
• Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care as needed
