Job summary

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Bryan, Texas. The PTA will work 40 hours per week, eight hours daily, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting patients recovering from illness or injury.

The role requires an Associate degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program, an active Texas PTA license, and BLS. Prior skilled nursing or long-term care experience is preferred, with familiarity with EMR

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program or equivalent.
• Active Texas PTA license required; BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred; EMR documentation familiarity helps.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy interventions under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Record treatments and patient progress in medical records.
• Ensure care follows established plans and contributes to patient recovery.
