Job summary

Physical Therapy Assistant position with Cross Country Allied in Naples, Florida, is a travel role in outpatient East Naples. The PTA will support treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist and provide interventions to help patients reach functional goals.

Responsibilities include patient education, mobility training, treatment documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Start date is 11/16/2026 for a 13-week assignment, with 40 hours per week on days.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited school.
• CAPTE certification.
• At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
• Active state license for the work location.

Responsibilities

• Supports outpatient treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
• Provides therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening, endurance and coordination exercises.
• Documents patient progress and treatment response.
• Trains patients in locomotion using assistive devices.
• Maintains infection control and safety practices.
• Participates in team conferences and quality improvement activities.
