Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Naples, FL. The position offers a 36-hour week with a 12-hour flexible shift, starting ASAP and serving outpatient patients under a PT's supervision.

The ideal candidate has a PTA degree, CAPTE certification, and Florida licensure, plus 1+ year outpatient experience and active CPR certification. Travel, housing support, and benefits are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited school.
• CAPTE Certification.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Active applicable license for the state where work will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions, such as posture training, strengthening exercises, and functional skills training.
• Train patients in the use of orthotics, prosthetics, and assistive devices.
• Demonstrate modalities including whirlpools, hot/cold packs, and ultrasound.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress, including patient and family education.
• Maintain a clean treatment area, adhere to safety policies, and report any hazards.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients and staff.
• Participate in special projects aimed at improving quality and efficiency of patient care.
