ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Los Gatos, California. The role supports outpatient therapy, with a 36-hour workweek, flexible 12-hour shifts, and start ASAP.

This contract emphasizes evaluation, treatment planning, and patient safety under physician direction. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Physical Therapy, has 6–12 months outpatient experience, and current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on patient progress towards discharge.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical record documentation, including goal writing and letters of medical necessity.
• Participate in educational activities for students, providing supervision and evaluations.
• Create and pursue a professional development plan in collaboration with clinical management.
• Adhere to the discipline‑specific State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Implement performance improvement methodologies to enhance service quality.
