Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-MSP is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Marshalltown, Iowa. The assignment is 13 weeks with start ASAP and a schedule of 5x8 days, with the option for extension and Day One Medical Benefits.

We are looking for a PTA to assist therapists, support patient participation, and help restore and enhance functional performance in a SNF setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited program.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / state licensure.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.

Education

Associate’s degree from an accredited school

Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice

Current BLS certification
