Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Piscataway, New Jersey. The position offers a 40-hour work week with dayshift hours (08:30–16:30) in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

The candidate must have an Associate degree in Physical Therapy, an active New Jersey PTA license, and BLS certification if required. Prior SNF/post-acute care experience is preferred, with EMR documentation duties expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active New Jersey PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required.
• Experience in SNF or post-acute care preferred.
• Ability to assist with transfers, ambulation, therapeutic exercise, and documentation using EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and therapeutic exercises.
• Document care using EMR under supervision of licensed PT.
• Follow facility protocols and participate in patient care activities.
