Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a travel assignment in a long-term care setting in Webster, Massachusetts. The 13-week contract starts 09/14/2026, with weekly pay ranging from $1,330 to $1,415. No guaranteed hours are stated, and the shift is listed as unknown.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA license in the state of practice (Massachusetts).
• Experience in SNF or geriatric settings preferred.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed PT.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PT treatment plans addressing mobility and functional needs.
• Deliver direct therapy services including exercises and gait/balance training.
• Observe and report resident responses and progress to the supervising PT.
• Assist with resident assessments and care planning documentation.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises for safety outside therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and proper care of equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff.
• Uphold regulations and professional licensure requirements.
