Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Aberdeen, MD. You will work under a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans that improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance functional independence.

As part of a dedicated clinical team, you will provide hands‑on therapy, document progress, educate patients on home programs, and collaborate across disciplines while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid PTA license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsabilités

• Set up therapy areas and ensure all devices and supplies are clean and ready for sessions.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercises and transfers with hands-on assistance as needed.
• Record treatment details, progress, and adjustments in the medical record.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe mobility.
• Collaborate with physical therapists and other clinicians for comprehensive care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
