Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Ridgecrest, California. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and executing a plan of care, and coordinating with the care team in an acute care setting.

The right candidate has at least 6 months of experience (new grads may apply) and must hold BLS and state-specific licensure. This travel position includes 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, with pay packages and tax-free stipends to be

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification required; state-specific PT licensing required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Follow PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to coordinate plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a PT plan of care and modify it as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks and documentation.
• Provide timely documentation following state/insurance guidelines.
