National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Aledo, Illinois. Start ASAP with a Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts. Benefit options include DayOne Medical Benefits. Employment type: Travel.

The PTA will assist therapists, engage patients in therapeutic tasks, and support functional recovery while working in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited school.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity
• Diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health

Education
