Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy seeks a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Topsfield, Massachusetts. The role offers a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts and ASAP start.

The PTA will assist therapists in patient tasks, promote learning and health, and work under licensed supervision. Eligible candidates must have an associate's degree, a valid PTA license in the state, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited school.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity
• Diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health
