Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Venice, Florida. The position is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts, start ASAP. Monday through Friday schedule in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.

The PTA will support therapists, help patients participate in targeted activities to restore function, and promote health. Requires an Associate’s degree, Florida PTA license, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited school.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
