Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role requires active PTA licensure in the state, an associate degree, and current BLS certification.

Expected schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with Day One medical benefits. The successful candidate will support Physical Therapists in guiding patient activities, promoting rehabilitation and functional outcomes within a skilled nursing facility

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited school.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
• Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity
• Diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health
