Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Lumberton, North Carolina. Enjoy full-time hours (40/week) with a Monday–Friday schedule and Day One Medical Benefits.

As a PTA, you will assist therapists in directing patient activities to restore function, while maintaining patient comfort, safety, and progress in a SNF setting. Active PTA license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in targeted tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
• Facilitate learning of skills essential for adaptation and productivity.
• Diminish or correct pathology and promote and maintain health.
