Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Lanham, Maryland. The placement is 13 weeks in a Skilled Nursing Facility, with a 35-hour minimum weekly schedule and a shift from 08:00–16:30. Expect on-site work with immediate staffing needs and weekly pay ranging from $2,643 to $2,822.

Requirements include Maryland PT licensure and a DPT (or equivalent). SNF or geriatric rehab experience is preferred; strong teamwork and documentation skills are essential for success in

Qualifications

• Current physical therapy license valid in Maryland.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent.
• Eligibility to practice in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Prior SNF or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations for SNF residents.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries per guidelines.
• Perform gait training, therapeutic exercise, and modality use as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing, OT, speech-language pathology, and medical staff.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises, safety, and fall prevention.
