Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sacramento, CA. The therapist will evaluate and treat patients, develop personalized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Required licensure and BLS; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. Travel benefits and competitive pay accompany a supportive clinical team and robust onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred.
• Physical Therapy experience is preferred but new grads are welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment need.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and prevention strategies.
