Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with PT licensure and BLS certification to join a hospital-based rehabilitation team. This role focuses on outpatient evaluations, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary care.

The position features day shifts, with 8–10 hour workdays starting at 7:00, 8:00, or 8:30 AM, and requires active, unrestricted licensure in the state of practice. Vaccination requirements apply where permitted.

Qualifications

• Requires PT licensure in the state of practice.
• Active, unrestricted license in the state of submission.
• 2 years of Physical Therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy in a hospital-based rehab setting.
• Work day shifts starting at 7:00, 8:00, or 8:30 AM.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to manage patient groups.
• Complete evaluations and ongoing documentation within deadlines.
• Supervise assigned therapy assistants.
• Ensure vaccinations are up to date as a condition of employment.
• Exclude candidates with adverse licensure history; limited time-off policy.
• No radius rule; local and traveling candidates receive the same pay rate.
