Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a day-shift travel assignment in Chandler, Texas. The position requires 1 year of PT experience with outpatient orthopedic focus and Epic charting. Licensure in Texas is required or pending, with a preference for BLS.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, on-site at a rehabilitation center. Benefit packages include comprehensive health coverage and housing stipends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required.
• TX PT license required (pending license accepted); license required if applicable.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal treatment experience preferred.
• Skilled in modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, traction, and cryotherapy.
• Experience with gait training, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment, evaluation, and discharge documentation.
• Treatment planning and implementation for orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric patients.
• Maintain charting in Epic and coordinate with clinic staff.
• Open to first-time travelers; interview preferred before offer.
• Not accepting candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility.
