Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 3+ years of experience in orthopedic and musculoskeletal care. The role offers a clinic setting with a gym, multiple shift options, and generous benefits for travel staff.

Requirements include state license if applicable and CPR certification. Responsibilities cover post-operative and conservative rehab, with an average caseload of 10 patients per day in a non-pediatric, non-neuro environment.

Qualifications

• State license required (if applicable)
• CPR certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Outpatient physical therapy experience treating musculoskeletal injuries, back/neck pain, and post-operative care preferred

Responsibilities

• Outpatient PT clinic with a gym and one semi-private treatment room
• Treat post-operative and conservative orthopedic/musculoskeletal rehab such as total joint replacements, shoulder scopes, rotator cuff repairs, knee scopes, and trauma/fracture management
• Treat conservative musculoskeletal injuries including back and neck pain, general deconditioning, and balance training
• No pediatric or neuro diagnoses treated
• Average caseload of 10 patients per 8-hour day
• Flexible scheduling options of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts
• No weekend rotation or on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Supported by department manager and patient access specialists
• Standard physical therapy equipment available on-site
• 2 days of orientation provided
• No holidays required to work
• All time off requests will be considered
• No scrubs required
• First-time travelers considered based on experience
