Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The position requires 40 hours weekly, with dayshift hours, and travel employment through MedPro’s allied staffing network.

The candidate must have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a PT/Bachelor’s with NPTE, be from an accredited program, have at least one year of experience, and hold or be eligible for state licensure, plus CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process of licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct PT care.
• Establish and administer a treatment plan with goals based on patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families on therapy methods.
• Develops a plan of care and provides skilled PT services per physician orders.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to meet patient goals.
