Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Valdez, Alaska. The position runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, dayshift, with travel employment. Immediate opportunity requires 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.

Responsibilities include supervising PTAs, billing per setting rules, and coordinating with medical staff to implement a team-based plan of care. Must have BLS and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of PT experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be accepted.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy technicians.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with Medical Center personnel and physicians to plan care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate patient needs.
• Create and modify a plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Document timely and accurate information following guidelines.
