Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 26-week travel assignment in Silver Spring, MD. This role offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of a travel position with Fusion Medical Staffing.

The PT will evaluate and treat patients across hospital and rehab settings, developing evidence-based plans and coordinating with a clinical team to ensure safe, effective recovery.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and plan rehabilitation to improve mobility.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs.
• Implement therapy plans and document progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and safety.
• Maintain safe treatment environment and infection control.
