Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel assignment in Riverside, CA. The PT will evaluate and manage a plan of care for diverse acute care patients, working with PTAs and center staff to ensure high-quality, compliant care.

Requirements include 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred), BLS, and CA licensure. Assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred, 6 months ok for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification and state licensure (CA) required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care for diverse populations in acute care.
• Oversee PTAs and therapy staff; coordinate with physicians and center staff.
• Document accurately following state and payer guidelines.
• Bill within setting and adhere to facility procedures.
• Adapt plan of care based on patient progress and conditions.
