Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Oakland, California. The PT will supervise PTAs, bill per guidelines, and coordinate with Medical Center staff to deliver a team-based plan of care. A valid state license and BLS are required.

The position includes 30 hours per week, days shift, 8-hour blocks, for 13 weeks with potential for extension. Experience required is 6–12 months, though exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred, exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• Must have BLS and state-specific physical therapy licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting following guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to plan care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/create plans of care.
• Modify plans as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
