Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in North Las Vegas, NV. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and executing plans of care in an acute care setting, and supervising PTAs and support staff.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PT experience and must hold a BLS certification and state license. New grads may be considered with relevant background. Duration is 26 weeks with 40 hours per week and day shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience; new grads considered with appropriate background
• BLS certification and state licensing required
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff
• Bill within setting following facility guidelines
• Follow PT board rules and state regulations
• Coordinate with Medical Center staff and physicians to ensure plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment and implement planned care
• Evaluate and adjust plan of care as patient condition changes
• Use hospital computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines
