Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Kearney, Nebraska, seeks a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. The PT will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour daytime shifts, and may require board licensure with state-specific regulations.

Immediate opening; 1 year of experience preferred, 6 months may suffice for exceptional candidates. The role involves supervising PTAs, performing evaluations, developing and adjusting plans of care, and documenting in clinic systems while adhering to guidelines and best

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged.
• BLS and state-specific licensing are required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
