Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fountain, CO. This position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, with travel benefits and a clinical team support structure.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across hospitals and clinics, creating individualized plans to improve mobility and reduce pain while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and histories to identify functional limitations and treatment need.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate specialized physical therapy equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to home or community settings.
