Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in Alaska. Requires 1+ year of acute care PT experience and an active AK license. BLS certification is required.

Position features a 16-week contract with a typical Monday–Friday day shift (0800–1630) and possible weekend coverage. Residence must be 50+ miles outside Fairbanks, with travel housing allowances and reimbursements available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience in an acute care setting.
• AK license required if applicable.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting.
• 16-week contract.
• Primarily Monday-Friday day shift 0800-1630.
• Occasional weekend coverage may be required.
• No holiday, floating, or on-call requirements.
• Candidate's permanent residence must be 50+ miles outside of Fairbanks.
• Up to 14 days of RTO may be requested, including a maximum of 4 weekend shifts.
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration.
• A vehicle for transportation is recommended due to winter walking conditions.
• Fingerprints must be mailed to the Alaska Department of Health and Services within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
