Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sheridan, Wyoming. A 1-year experience is preferred, with 6 months acceptable for strong candidates. The PT will evaluate and implement a care plan for diverse patient populations in acute care.

Responsibilities include supervising PTAs and therapy staff, documenting per guidelines, and coordinating with physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care. Requires BLS and licensure; travel position.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged.
• Must have BLS and state licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting and follow guidelines.
• Interface with medical center staff and physicians for team-based care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as needed.
• Use hospital computer systems; document per guidelines.
