Healthforce in Skowhegan, ME seeks a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility. Start 11/09/2026; dayshift 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; 35 guaranteed hours per week. Implement evaluations, develop plans, lead mobility and gait training, and educate residents and families. Must hold US PT license with Maine license eligibility; SNF experience preferred.

Compensation includes weekly pay between $2,260 and $2,396, with recruiter support and extension options.

Qualifikationen

• Active physical therapy license in the United States.
• Maine licensure or eligibility for licensure by endorsement.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans for residents.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, mobility activities, and functional progression.
• Apply appropriate modalities and manual techniques; monitor progress and adjust interventions.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in accordance with policy.
• Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team; educate residents and families on home exercise programs.
