Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 12-week assignment in Baton Rouge, LA. The position offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and a travel-friendly compensation package with comprehensive benefits.

The PT will evaluate patients, develop personalized rehabilitation plans, implement treatment, document outcomes, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to ensure high-quality care. Valid PT license and BLS required; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercises and injury prevention.
